Chef Jay Lavale - Seafood Boil Fundraiser Raffle Terms and Conditions 

1. Eligibility: 

• This raffle is open to individuals aged 18 years or older at the time of ticket purchase. 
• Employees, board members, and immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) of Chef Jay Lavale directly involved in the organization and execution of this raffle are not eligible to win. 
• Participation is void where prohibited by law. Entrants are responsible for ensuring their participation is lawful in their jurisdiction. 

2. Raffle Period: 

• Raffle ticket sales begin on May 20, 2025. 
• The deadline for purchasing raffle tickets is June 20, 2025, at 8:00 AM PDT. 
• Tickets purchased after this deadline will not be eligible for the drawing. 

3. How to Enter: 

• Raffle tickets may be purchased for $5 each. 
• Tickets can be purchased via the Link Provided. 
• There is no limit to the number of tickets an individual may purchase. 
• A purchased ticket represents one (1) entry into the raffle. 
• Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible tickets sold. 

4. Prize Details: 

• There will be two (2) lucky winners selected. 
• Each winner will receive one (1) Seafood Boil prize package, valued at approximately $300. 
• The prize includes the winner's choice of available seafood and sides, up to the $300 value, as coordinated with Chef Jay Lavale or its designated prize provider. 
• The prize is non-transferable, and no cash alternative or substitution will be offered, except at the sole discretion of Chef Jay Lavale. 
• Any taxes or additional expenses associated with the prize, beyond its stated value and components, are the sole responsibility of the winner. 

5. Winner Selection and Notification: 

• The two (2) winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received. 
• The drawing will be held live on June 21, 2025, or shortly after June 20th, at a Time to be announced via Chef Jay Lavale Tik TikTok Live page at https://www.tiktok.com/@jaylavale1 
• Winners do not need to be present at the live drawing to win, unless otherwise specified for a particular live event format. 
• Winners will be notified within hours of the drawing via TikTok, phone, or email, using the contact information provided at the time of ticket purchase. 
• If a potential winner cannot be contacted within 7 days after the first attempt, or if they are found to be ineligible, or if they do not comply with these Terms and Conditions, the prize may be forfeited, and an alternate winner may be selected at Chef Jay Lavale's discretion. 

6. Prize Claim: 

• To claim the prize, winners may be required to provide proof of identity and eligibility. 
• Arrangements for receiving the seafood boil (e.g., delivery, pick-up, voucher for a specific provider) will be coordinated with the winner by Chef Jay Lavale. 

7. Use of Proceeds: 

• All net proceeds from this raffle will benefit Chef Jay Lavale and his mission to feed homeless people across Los Angeles and give back to the community. 

8. Publicity: 

• By accepting the prize, winners agree to allow Chef Jay Lavale to use their name, likeness, and photograph for promotional purposes related to this raffle and the organization's mission, without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. 

9. General Conditions: 

• Chef Jay Lavale reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the raffle if any fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond its reasonable control impairs the integrity of the raffle, as determined by Chef Jay Lavale in its sole discretion. 
• By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the decisions of Chef Jay Lavale, which are final and binding. 
• This raffle is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. 

10. Limitation of Liability: * By participating in the raffle, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Chef Jay Lavale, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any liability for any injuries, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the raffle, or any prize won. 

11. Governing Law & Disputes: * This raffle and these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from this raffle shall be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
